I currently live in Farmington, Utah—just north of Salt Lake City—with my husband and our two rescue dogs. We're lucky to call a Ron Molen–designed home our own. Molen is a renowned Utah architect known for blending modernist principles with natural surroundings, and his homes are highly sought after by mid-century design enthusiasts.

Cliff May:
The Start of It All

My passion for mid-century modern architecture began when my husband and I purchased our first home—an original Cliff May–designed property in the Ranchos neighborhood of Long Beach, California.

Cliff May is often referred to as the father of the California ranch house, known for his open floor plans, indoor-outdoor living, and signature post-and-beam construction.

The Ranchos area is a celebrated enclave of Cliff May homes, each one a testament to the timeless charm of mid-century design. Living there sparked my love for architectural details, vintage character, and the unique lifestyle and community that comes with a well-designed mid-mod home.
